The Fairbanks, Morse & Co Type H engine, as originally purchased from Rod Stride. My association with this engine, a petrol/paraffin Fairbanks, Morse & Co Type H, serial number 146867, dates right back to 1976 or 1977. I can't be sure precisely, however, but I do know that it was before I was old enough to have a driving licence.

Oct 15, 2009. #3. There is no way either could match a 15 hp briggs. The 204 you mentioned is actually a 208 and can make up to 12 hp at 675 rpm. If you need more, the 346 makes 18 at 575 rpm. The 118 is only good for 9 hp at 700 rpm.

To spin a mag with no gear on it take a piece of 3/8 fuel line (4") and slip it over the armature thread end. Then put a slightly larger drill bit than 3/8 in a drill and slip it in the other end of the fuel line. This will spin the mag for you and it will have a flexible joint that will be forgiving. F.

According to the tag, it is a 1/2 hp, 115/230VAC, 7.8/3.9 Amp, 1725 RPM, Type RA, with an X 66 Frame. Model Number is B504 K3659.
