I'm thinking of putting a new 4 speed in my car. It has a mild 396 in it with a muncie 4 speed but not sure which one I was told it is a close ratio but have to pull it out to be sure. It also has a 12 bolt posi with 3:55 gears and is running 275-60-15 rear tires. The power range of the cam is in between 3500 and 6500.

In my opinion the super T10 is stronger than a wide ratio muncie weaker than a close ratio non m22 muncie definitely weaker than a m22 but a good box for decent power heavy street car without a ton of power. My last 4 speed was my 70 monte carlo before the switch to LS & auto.
